Leon immediately darted inside once the window was opened, giving his sister chirp that was somehow both irritated and grateful before disappearing into his bedroom. Contrary to popular belief (or, at least, popular media), shapeshifters could not alter the appearance of their garments...which meant whenever the teen went out on his nightly prowls, he was completely bare. Not that it mattered when transformed due to the fur and feathers, but it prevented him from simply reverting back to human form when in a sticky situation. Cameras were everywhere and his ego was fragile.

After pulling on some clothes, Leon walked into the kitchen, unable to resist the delicious smell filling the house. He peeked over Hui Fang's shoulder curiously, reaching over to pick out a snow pea from the hot wok.

"Is that a new recipe?" he asked between bites, pulling out their bowls from the cupboards. “It tastes different. Better, actually."

One of the best exercises in life is easily rollerblading along the more clearer parts of town. She had her earphones in, and a tiny backpack with a bottle of water and some seeds so in case she finds a green surface so she could plant them.

But before she knew it, she made a head first collision with someone that was probably wearing clothes made out of bricks. She was pretty woozy and gasped when she realized that she was about to fall right on her back on the hard concrete. She felt someone’s hands gripping onto her, and before thinking she latched onto his clothes as well, her bright brown eyes looked right up them. Oh that was close.

“Hello-!”

Ludwig was actually rather pleased with himself! It only took two collisions for him to figure out how to instantly rectify them, and now, here he was! A girl was saved! And Ludwig was-...! Holding...a complete stranger in his arms! Oh dear!

Quickly, he righted her. “Hello,” he replied, obviously rather embarrassed. “Sorry. Again.”

Well there is no way he was going to resist buying a pretty thing for such a pretty girl. In a heartbeat he has somehow plucked the most beautiful coloured glass lamp and untangled it from the mass of strings hanging from the tent, animatedly haggled the price down with the stall owner, and paid for it to present it to his lovely guest wrapped in coloured paper - sporting the brightest, handsomely lopsided grin and a cheerful gaze behind the mask, of course. “There ya go. A keepsake to remember me by.”

“I really wish you wouldn’t be so reckless with your travels,” he sighed. “If you already know that you fall ill when you’re away from your home for too long, why do you still continue to take extended trips overseas? At some point you need to allow common sense to take priority over your insatiable wanderlust.”

Kiku glanced up with a slight frown, scooting aside to make room for the added futon. He refused to allow his annoyance to surface, as he really did care for his former charge, however she was being quite presumptuous...which was probably China’s doing.

“And I don’t remember telling you that being allowed to visit whenever you pleased meant that you could ignore common courtesy. Couldn’t you have spared a phone call to tell me you were coming? What if I had guests over? And before you say anything,” he said, giving her a stern look. “I dislike surprises.”
