You know those moments where your hands are guided by the art muse and everything aligns? I had to pause as I was drawing this to clap like an excited seal, I'm so happy with how it came out. This is a scene from last night's dnd game, where my PC, Rowan playfully threatened (and made good on it) to teach @flailingdoodle's Taiyin how to dance. It was an adorable moment and I love them.

The Hummingbird hero Taiyin

I wanted to do something simple. I’ve been meaning to draw Taiyin for a while, a god from Fuegian mythology. He’s also going to be a pretty important character in L’Maar.

Headcanon: Taiyin is a brawler and won't let herself get pushed around by anyone... But that was before she'd met Jack. The first night they met, it was just to "blow off steam" by sparing, where Taiyin learned 2 things:

1 - she really hated losing to a superior fighter.

2 - getting hit by a superior fighter turned her on.

It was the first time Taiyin lost, or at least lost this badly, and for a while she wasn't sure if the burning sensation she felt over her entire body was shame or arousal from havign been beaten by someone like Jack, by someone that was so much better than her and so ridiculously handsome both at once. The end result was the same either way: she felt incredibly hot, she needed relief, and there was a hunk of a man right in front of her.

So, of course, she and Jack ended up fucking in the showers, and that was how Taiyin met and knew Jack personally.
