tw - i'm not detailing anything particularly gruesome, but these ocs are in a toxic relationship with a power imbalance in that Dama is rich and Wenjun is poor.

these are my (and my girlfriend's!) ocs, Damayanti Kala-Rani and Zhou Wenjun! Dama believes she is perfection made human because she has been taught her entire life that she is the pinnacle of beauty (and internally has trouble feeling remorse and processing her own emotions,) and thus does not speak to most people. If she does have to speak to someone that is not her family, she tends to be rather mean to them because she is annoyed by their presence.

...And then there's her girlfriend, Wenjun. Wenjun, the poor poor baby, had an incredibly difficult childhood, and was homeless for a year as a teenager. Her entire life, she starved and struggled, until she met Dama. Dama thought she was cute, and Dama gave her the first affection (read: a hug every sometimes and food,) and Wenjun became attached to her hip. Wenjun has a rather strong sense of justice, but if she's going to date a princess... she has to defend her, if she must (and she will, as Dama has many, many enemies.)

they are i and my girlfriend's cuties, and we ❤️❤️❤️ them very much. rip wenjun, you'd love a bowl of macaroni.

one day dennis comes home late (from work or amy's idk) and is immediately concerned to hear very loud and anguished weeping coming from trinity's room.

he knows he's not supposed to go in her room. that's her space. and, yeah, she can waltz into his room without knocking and plop down on his bed all she wants. he doesn't care. he actually likes that she feels so comfortable with him. he also knows that sometimes she does it to stop herself from self harming, so he definitely doesn't mind.

anyways, he's worried something happened to her, so he runs through the small apartment and bursts through the door. low and behold, there's trinity on the floor absolutely bawling her eyes out.

dennis kneels by her and checks for signs of injury, but he gets smacked in the face by the very strong scent of wine instead. and in her hands is her phone playing that little brothers song from phineas and ferb.

she's blubbering, "it's... it's like... look," she says, showing him while barely holding herself together. "it's– it's us!"

and then she falls onto his lap to keep crying.

dennis starts to laugh while tears well up in his eyes. he pets her hair and shushes her. "okay, trin. i think you've had enough to drink. let's get you to bed."

they don't talk about it when they wake up snuggled up together on her bed in the morning. physical affection becomes a lot more common in their friendship, but they never talk about it. they just know. they're safe when they're together. they're loved. they're okay.
