It’s been a rough week, not only did the country suffer another loss but it came out that things along the Southern Border aren’t so hot either - try around 10k souls in the past couple months deceased via drowning all because of a false promise thanks to… well “you-know-who”. Yet, no one believes us. This explains why I’ve been a bit edgy lately and not taking nonsense from either right or left, so I do apologise for that and if I forgot anything lately. I’m just tired of the BS.

All the flags in my town are half mast, not just for Nashville but also for the recent injustice going on against the American people, and someJewish communities are refusing to observe Shabbes over what’s going on. With that I urge citizens to keep your chins up, and those overseas - condemn the US government for acting like a communist state! I’ll be back on Monday…

To all the communities to stepped up and did their duty as neighbours, I love you guys. You’re the real MVPs. And to those who rejoice over bent justice and opt to forget and incite violence just to protect your fickle ideals… I pity you. I hope you let go of your bitterness before it bites you in the ass.

Take it easy, guys. I have a very eventful weekend ahead, but I will do likewise. See ya soon. ❤️

Pausing

This entire month has been a break.

Not as much as I’d have liked,

Plenty of writing still to do,

Work carrying on for a lot of it too,

But it was a break I had to take,

And I’m in no rush to start again.

I feel happier in a pause,

No hurry on to the next scene,

Just enjoying this time between.

It’s my current favourite state.

In the flow of my life,

I’m constantly adrift,

Yet now I’ve paused,

Looked away from strife,

My spirits start to lift.

Work’s current had me spinning,

Days constantly reeling,

But a softer current moves in,

And the light can now seep in.
