Students in 6th Grade dance elective completing their dance composition projects. They had a great time working together and it was such a pleasure to watch. The students were to work collaboratively while incorporating locomotor and non-locomotor movement, levels and pathways in space, a clear beginning and ending with each dancer performing in unison unless performing a cannon or solo.

Students from Ms. St. Hill’s 2nd grade class demonstrate concentration as they slowly move to lead and follow. When asked which they preferred leading or following a student answered “I like to lead because I like when my friends follow me doing the right thing…I don’t want to get in trouble and I don’t want my friends to get into trouble.”
