She sighs in relief as soon as the court had adjourned for the day. Rapunzel didn’t mind accompanying her father into the throne room to judge the grievances of their people, as she knew it was something she would eventually have to do as Queen, but she couldn’t remember the last time she’d seen the sun.
It was that morning, during breakfast in the garden but lets not worry about the details.
Quite suddenly, as she takes a corner she’s yanked around and feels the callous hands of her lady Cassandra messing about with her dress. “Where do you think you’re going? You have a meeting with the prince---”
“Cassandraa,” comes the princess’s plea. “I just want to go out for some fresh air. Some sun? Twoo seconds.”
“Your schedule is packed. You can breathe when you’re dead.”
