Asher paused, watching the girl for a moment in thought. He’d been hoping to find some privacy here, but… Would it really be so bad to actually try to get to know someone?

"No one owns this place." She explained. "It's just.... Here. A forgotten memento of its time." She muttered as she looked around the empty halls.

I will be going to Europe for ten days starting Tuesday so I will not be on much
"The point is that my mother trusted me, and I was ten and there was danger. I see no reason your father shouldn’t trust you."
"Because it’s scary out there…" she pouts. "What if a man kidnaps me! My family has a lot of money! They’d use me as a ransom!"
"I doubt that would happen. Only the poor and not normal are taken. And that is only so we can cater to the wealthy white people like you. I doubt anyone would want to kidnap you just because you are wealthy."

A small yelp escaped the boys mouth as he tossed the flashlight into the air, which then collided with the ground giving a loud crack, he’d probably cracked the plastic cover or something. He took in a small breath turning to glance around him, hoping for the faint glow of a ghosts —which sadly he did not receive — He took a few steps back, crouching down to grab his flash light.
"Um… Who’s t-there?" Norman called fumbling to try and grab the flashlight without taking his eyes off the hall way in front of him.
"My name is Hiroko." She said, bowing out of habit, although he couldn't see. "You are not in any danger." Hiroko knew about the rumours of a murderous love-stricken ghost in this school, and didn't want anyone thinking they were true. Hiroko tentatively approached behind the boy, tapping his shoulder.
"My mother understood that I knew where to play and where not to play."
Jade’s look is still wide eyed. “Still seems scary… I’d be terrified of going out.”
"The point is that my mother trusted me, and I was ten and there was danger. I see no reason your father shouldn't trust you."
"That is mean. I mean even when the soldiers were taking siege of our village my mother would still let me out to play."
"That seems… silly. What if you got hurt?"
"My mother understood that I knew where to play and where not to play."
"Uhh...it's a little obvious you aren't, isn't it? Not that hard to tell." Shrugging her shoulders she continued to follow the girl.
"Anyway, anything you need help doing around here? I'm bored, I won't be seeing my mother for a few hours. I can afford to do something."
Hiroko sighed in frustration. "No I do not need help, I am perfectly capable." She went on silently for a moment before adding as an afterthought. "Thank you."

She had been cleaning up the halls on the third floor when Hiroko thought she’d go outside and clear out the field. Or at least the part she used. Clearing out the whole field before the snow started once more would be a miracle of a thing to happen. She dusted off her hands and started hopping down the person sized holes to the first floor. The stairs were too dangerous to take often. They were a metallic death trap all of their own, barely attached to the building itself. They weren’t wise to take if you couldn’t help it.
Once Hiroko had gotten to the bottom she landed with a loud thwang on the locker she’d pushed onto it’s side to help her get up the hole in the first place. She hopped off of that and headed for the costume storage room. It may have stopped snowing, but it was still cold out. She grabbed one of the less hole-ridden jackets and a scarf and headed out back into the hallway. The first floor hallways were much cleaner than the others, though there were still odd piles of debris that blew in from outside spotted everywhere. As she went along Hiroko tried to clean them as best she could.
Before Hiroko was able to get to the door that led to the soccer field she’d heard someone come in the front entrance. She stopped, closing the door as quietly as possible. Who would be out here when you could barely walk? Were they lost? Did they break down? Either way, she felt she had to check.
The old school projected noise easily, but Hiroko had figured out a way to be as quiet as a mouse. She’d found the few places that didn’t creak or moan when you stepped over them where there was wood. She made her way to the front entrance and peeked around the corner to see who was there.
Norman stood in front of the abandoned school, stories from the town him and his family where staying in for Spring Break said horrible ghost haunted the old building, and if people went in they didn’t come out the same. With Normans ability to actually communicate with ghosts, he would see if there where really any ghosts, and if their where, he was going to try and help them pass on.
He took in a deep breath, clicking on the small cheep hand flashlight, going and pushing open the front door. As he assumed the door opened with a load screech which echoed through the whole school building, making him flinch slightly. If anything was in there, they knew he—someone— was here.
It took him a little bit to work up the courage to step into the old dilapidated school. Once he did he moved slowly, looking all around his surroundings, a few holes in the ceiling as well as the floor… The old building was in horrible condition. He closed the door behind him in hopes of keeping the small amount of warmth the school offered as he could.
He swallowed a harsh knot that was trying to form in the back of his throat, rubbing his arm, “I-Is anyone here?” He called through the hall way, scanning the area, hoping for a ghost… And not a person or animal he had woken up… Or worse.
Hiroko had hidden in the dark corners, following the boy's steps quietly. He was just a child, she thought. She wasn't used to children coming around, it was usually people her age trying to find privacy to do whatever they wanted or to vandalize the walls with their spray paints. She usually didn't mind and would leave them, but this child seemed more scared than anything.
"Are you okay?" She asked, not coming out from her hiding place. As she spoke her voice traveled down the dark hallway.
silvertonguedphoenix came exploring
"I see." She nodded slowly, staring at him and his fiery aura a moment before looking outside. "It’s starting to get quite snowy outside." She muttered. "I should make sure Harvey’s okay." She turned to the other once more. "You may stay as long as you need. There are showers and clothing and mattresses. The teachers’ lounge and main office are already taken as living quarters so I advise you not enter either."
Asher paused, watching the girl for a moment in thought. He’d been hoping to find some privacy here, but… Would it really be so bad to actually try to get to know someone?
"Who else lives here, besides you?" he asked curiously.
"There is a man and his wife who often stay in the main office." She said, nodding down the hall to it. "Harvey and Annabelle."
The girl followed quirking a brow, not understanding what not getting the english language had to do with not being deserving enough.
"What aren’t you deserving enough of? to be among other people because you can’t understand English that well? Your English is fine to me…and i’m fluent. Don’t stress yourself too much."
Akari shrugged her shoulders however, stopping to put her hands in her pockets.
"But..if you want, i could help you learn more English? Seems like a stretch considering i’m a stranger, but it’s up to you. i don’t mind."
"I am fine with my English, I just do not know if that was the right word to use." Hiroko muttered. "It's not that I do not know English, it is that I am not English." She said as if it were obvious.
Attempt to kiss my character and see how they react
"What if I just say you've paid your debt. Will you leave me then?" Hiroko asked. She was getting annoyed with this boy. "Nope, not how it works." He grinned.
Our muses have signed up for a social experiment and have just been placed in a room and told to kiss for the first time. Send me 'who are you?' for my muse's reaction!
Send me a quote you think describes my character, and I will write a drabble based on it.

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT PLEASE SPREAD THIS AROUND! IT MIGHT SAVE SOMEONE! Please keep an eye out for John Falkenrich, a 31 year old man who currently resides in Denver, Colorado (hometown of Wadsworth, Ohio) He is a mentally unstable pedophile and victim blamer, who believes he is a “werewolf king”. He claims there to be 9 entities living inside of him (three of which, including what he calls his “human form”, are listed in the photos above). He also believes he has the power to turn all lesbians straight. *IMPORTANT* When he was 25, he attempted to rape a 15 year old girl in her sleep, and he later blamed it on her because he claimed she was, unknowingly, a succubus and a vampire who was seducing him just by existing. Don’t worry, she kicked him very, very hard in the balls. But, she unfortunately did not report it to the police. John’s fiance at the time (who completely believed his story and even follows along with and engages in his delusions) had also attempted to fight the girl because of it, but the girl came out on top. PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILDREN, SIBLINGS, COUSINS, AND ALL OTHER UNDERAGE GIRLS AND BOYS AWAY FROM HIM. One of the “spirits living inside” of him is a woman, so it is crucial to keep both sexes/genders AWAY from him. If you spot this man, please let your loved ones know for their own safety. He has been confronted by authorities on many occasions, but he has been able to get away with his mental instability by saying he is “writing a book”. PLEASE SHARE THIS! YOU COULD BE SAVING SOMEONE BY INCREASING AWARENESS FOR THIS ATTEMPTED-RAPIST AND PEDOPHILE *All information on this person was gathered from someone who has known him for years, and from information from his facebook profile. The profile has not been included so as not to encourage harassment. This post is strictly for informational and safety purposes only*
As someone who used to his roommate and had to deal with his delusions on a firsthand basis I have to emphasize how dangerous and off-kilter his perception is. He is very charismatic and can easily convince less intelligent people that what he believes is true. Also, be aware he gets 90% of his “beliefs” from pop culture like shows, (buffy, supernatural, etc.) video games, and fantasy books. If you know these genre’s well it will be quite easy to realize what he is saying is full of shit.
