Talos the Mummy/Tale of the Mummy is a 1998 horror movie directed by Russel Mulcahy. It deals with Ancient Egypt, mummification, quest for immortality and struggles of human life. While most people get stuck in their fears, limited beliefs and struggles of ordinary life, others choose to go beyond. But to the uninitiated to deeper mysteries of the psyche, their conquests seem cruel, greedy, inhumane and terrifying. Not not mention unexplainable. So they invent all kinds of stories coming from the very darkness they rejected. To go beyond life and death, one must love and embrace their evil in same measure as their good.
