Never forget all that stuff that happened during orientation, like...
That time when the asshole of group 6 told that girl after her lecture that she needed to speak up. The way he did it, in front of EVERYONE in the auditorium was a dick move and really...that guy was such asshole
Never forget getting paired with the friendly but shy guy to teach our practicum. Our subject: colors. The guy was colored blind. Yeah, i can't make this up.
Never forget teaching those super smart kids and being all, "woooo! Is this how the kids are going to be," and then going to my school and being like "what the heck, TaLK. What type of false advertisement!!"
Never forget Shaba-daba-doo. Actually, no, FORGET shaba-daba-do. I never want to hear those words EVER again.
Never forget the Seoul scavenger hunt and the Nante performance
Never forget taking pictures with JYJ....or their cut out posters at least
Never forget dramatically dancing in the streets because music is ALWAYS blasting
Never forget Hongdae Trick-eye museum because THAT was wicked cool.
Never forget "Bah-sil" vs. "Bay-zul" because really....what the heck is a "bay-zul?" is that really how you're supposed to pronounce basil? Bay-zul? What!? I think i'll still with bah-sil
Never forget how HOT it was because geez! That HEAT
Never forget that time Nina taught Korean Andy her made-up word and Andy thought she said...something else and asked some dude what that was and Nina thought Andy was mad her her and he was like "hahaha no!"
Never forget shy guy and the girl who liked him and how hilarious it was to see that girl fawn over him. Never forget how entertained you and Nina were by that
Never forget sitting in the back of the classroom just to read books on my iphone
Never forget the interesting orientation food
Never forget swooning like crazy when K, the Korean instructor started talking in Korean
Never forget when K's twin brother came to visit and we dubbed him J and then found out his name actually does start with J. The J-K Twins.
Never forget learning korean tongue twisted and playing some wicked-hard number game. Also never forget how beastly good you were at that game even if you don't remember how to play it, you do remember being one of the last few standing
Never forget going to the lounge during the early AM hours
Never forget the beastly Jochiwon spiders. But you really SHOULD forget them.
Never forget how you and Nina could never keep your dorm room clean
Never forget trying to buy a blanket and seeing how expensive they were. Expensive AND thin
Never forget the fight for internet during orientation and you were like "see, this is why I like Mac because it's working for me."
Never forget those amazing apply drinks and those flute lessons you never mastered or your Korean teacher buying ice cream from the class and singing about Patbingsu.
Never forget about the lecture you and your group had to read/act a story out loud and no one could get past the story because of the "God, I have a sausage on my nose" line.
Never forget how awesome Mr. T was. One of the only interesting lectures and never forget the guy who created Talk to Me in Korean came and spoke to us.
Talk Orientation had it's perks.
