Life After Korea/ TaLk Program

I've been back home for months now and definitely miss korea like CRAZY!! My TaLK co-scholar sends me emails all the time telling me the students miss me (whaaaaaaaaaat). I even have a video of first graders saying, "Teacher, I miss you" in Korean and English (oh my god <3). Would I go back to Korea again? ABSOLUTELY. Would I do TaLK again? Hmmm yanno, yeah. 

I can tell you the reverse culture shock of being back home was major. First off when did my city get all of these fancy bridges? Second off we have bike lanes now? Whaaaaaaat!!! (Until that moment, I hadn't really been home for longer than a month since December 2011 and when I was home I was inside ^^)

What I'm doing now? AmeriCorps VISTA -volunteer service work at a homeless shelter and other things that have me going, "wait, what." so, yanno. just living life…or something like it.

Trip to Nine9Style Cafe part 3

I've been to Volks Japan Blufairy Cafe (part 2) and Iplehouse (part 2) but I've never posted my trip to Nine9Style. I went there twice and had a blast both times. The first time I accidentally walked into the work room and saw about 5 people making clothes, headbands, shoes etc. A really nice lady in one of the corner machines looked up and asked me if I was looking for the cafe and she walked me upstairs to the cafe area. She asked me where I was from and how I got into the BJD world. Come to find out she was the owner ^^ super nice.
