APIS: OUTFITS TO HONOR THE SACRED BULL

Apis, the sacred Bull, God of the black earth, the one who grants the power to defy and to resist, protector of the tribes that inhabit canyons of rubble and urban gorges.

The uniforms of the Apis tribe are massive, tough and aggressive looking. They aim to change the silhouette of the one who wears them, giving him an air of defiance, strength and resistance. Apis is a bull god, hence uniforms in his honor should be big, bulky and squarish looking with plain designs. Delicate details should be avoided. The preferred color is black, contrasted by bold white details.

If you want to put together a uniform in honor of Apis, you may opt for some relaxed fitting shirts (longshirts, tall tees), hoodies, big or high sneakers and jeans that are either relaxed fitting or baggy or show a drop crotch cut. Choose black as the main color and go for shirts that have bold white graphic prints or designs. If you want to add accessories you may go for caps, beanies, fingerless gloves, dog tags or big chains, but avoid too many items. Keep the outfit clean and simple.

Make sure your clothes fit properly, even if they're oversized. Avoid mountains of fabric that create excess wrinkles. Your silhouette should be clean and sharp. It should look bulky, but not wobbly. A mushy looking outfit is the fastest way to displease Apis.

Apis' signature feature are low-hanging jeans. The back of your jeans should be flat and worn somewhere around your knee pits. Pants that are worn too high anger Apis. Combine your jeans with big mid top sneakers or high top sneakers. Make sure that they’re not buried under the fabric of the jeans.

High up on a hill made of steel and rubble fierce black dogs are watching. Be careful. The sentinels can hear every step you take on mud and gravel. They breathe shadows and feed on stale dreams. 

Sometimes you just need to be a silverback to let people know who they’re dealing with. Get a longshirt and a hoodie. A relaxed fit works best. Grab some relaxed fitting jeans and sag the shit out of them. Make sure their crotch is between your knees. It’s not the time for being a pussy! Get some suspenders and let them hang to make people’s heads turn. If they tell you to pull up your pants, flip them off and say that your balls need room.

Top it off with big sneakers, a snapback and a dog tag for a pinch of urban tribal flair.
