For some reason I really struggle to draw Firestar and never remain pleased with any design I make for him, probably because he’s THE main character and there’s so many good designs out there already so it feels crucial to perfect him 😭 But when it came to his dad he’s barely changed since my first sketch of him. For Talltail/Star he’s got the tall and skinny/oriental shorthair look that I picture most Windclan cats having. Because he’s the first WC leader we are introduced to I definitely wanted him to have that look. Plus his name is Tallstar he’s gotta be tall

Tallstar deserved a real apology from all the cats who wronged him. Don’t get me started on his parents and Shrewclaw smh
