ASDFGHJK [tackle clings]
I'm thinking about taking a short break. It's a nice day outside and I shouldn't stay cooped up all afternoon. I'll be back in twenty to thirty minutes.
Demons, Spirits, and Humans, Oh My!
Hunter closed the phone with a smile, folding her arms across her chest. Greg's form continued to breathe calmly, unaware of the beings sharing his hospital room at the moment.
"Are you leaving yet? I told you, this human is mine."
+ Talonsofthecrow : Distract me.
Sober. Sober. Sober. His entire body ached, though the pounding in his head was gradually getting less. From what he understood, this would last at least two more days. He could last that long, couldn't he? He licked dry lips, eyed the bottle, but he knew it would do nothing for him. It would disappear on his tongue. Yet he found himself reaching for it all the same...
A distraction. He needed a distraction. And fast. He could pay that one a visit. She was a bit on the plain side in appearances, but she knew the value of silence and had been pleasant enough. Anything would work right now, he needed to do something. Anything.
That was how he wound up on her doorstep, ringing the doorbell and waiting. His muscles were restless, skin crawling, but he forced shaking hands into his pockets and was determined to play it cool.
Iris's Wish
Greg walked into the house, closing and locking the door behind him. He proceeded to the bedroom to change clothes into something more suitable to wear to bed.
The little girl was back in his house. He didn't have the energy to acknowledge the possible ghost, demon, or other supernatural thing out to kill him. He was going to have a nice, soothing cuppa when suddenly, he felt so sleepy.
He stumbled, thoughts fleeing from him like a piece of paper in the wind. He made his way back to the bed and dropped onto it. Something was wrong, which it seemed like something was always wrong these days. He immediately regretted contemplated how much his life was full of suck with his last coherent thoughts as his eyes pressed closed involuntarily.
He couldn't move but he wasn't afraid. He just was. And then he wasn't. All conscious thought ceased as he drifted off into deeper and deeper sleep. Eventually, REM sleep kicked in, pulling Lestrade into a happier world, even though it was a world that didn't exist.
Just as a heads up~
I'm going to bed in thirty minutes.
Tea with the Restalls (Takes place August 24th)
For the first time in three months, Lestrade felt like his house was presentable for company. For the first time in over three months, Lestrade was having proper guests for tea. For the first time in ages, Lestrade felt at home in his own home.
The scent of fresh roast beef and vegetables drifted throughout the house like it had not done in ages. The sounds of boiling juices and sauces fill the kitchen with sumptuous sound.
The table had been set with his finest dishes (his wife got the fine china) with place mats. There is a pot of tea leaves ready to be steeped in boiling water when his guests arrive.
