‘Twas a snowy evening when Talyn found him: another tiefling it seemed, about his height and twice as bulky, laying unconscious in a snowdrift on the side of the path.
As hermit-like as he was, Talyn wasn’t the kind to just let someone freeze to death. His cabin wasn’t far and Feysil could viably pull the other male on their supply sled. And so it was done, even in the hardship of the scrawny tiefling practically dragging the man inside to the warm bedroom that awaited him.
Following that, he’d get started on putting on some tea, figuring it a good time to try some of the new blends he’d bought from town recently…

It wasn’t overly common for Ven to take jobs outside of the arena, but sometimes he was bored or needed the extra cash, and took a bounty or a guard job.. all pretty standard fair that did its job well enough.
This particular bounty job had gone a bit rough though, and though he’d done as needed, he’d walked away with some minor injuries.. and one rather nasty one by his ribs. It was fairly deep, and would likely need some attention- but the most troubling thing was the familiar burn of poison that seeped into his very being. Trust a damn bandit to poison their fucking knives.
Thankfully, Vendettas system was quite tolerant to such things- and he would very likely survive without aid, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t get ill from it.. and as he walked through the snow, he found himself feeling heavy, feverish, and felt his body begin to sway. He swore under his breath, pushing on until his claws slipped on a patch of ice, and he fell into the snow- unconscious nearly on impact.
--------------------
When he awoke, he expected to find himself back in his room- though it only took the firmness of the bed ‘neath him for him to realize that was not the case, and soon did his memories flood back to him. Green eyes pop open, and his head swims as he sits up abruptly to look about the room. He didn’t.. know this place- where the fuck was he?? Confusion and dread settle into his still mildly addled mind, and despite his bodies protest, he rises from the bed and quietly lumbers to the doorway..
It didn’t take long for him to spot the unfamiliar figure, either.. A low growl comes from his throat, ready for a potential fight should this man have ill will towards him- his clawed hand digging into the wall slightly as he braces himself there. With a shove to give himself momentum, he rushes the man- grabbing him by the throat and shoving him to the nearest wall with enough force to keep him steady, but not enough to cause serious harm. yet.
His long tail lashes behind him as he looks over the mans face, another deep and dragon-like growl escaping him in a low rumble as he finally speaks. “you have ten seconds to tell me who the fuck are you, and where the fuck we are.”
