Author’s Notes: Oh man, this was when I was still classy and succinct with all my mythological allusions, before I gave into the spirit of smut. Anyway. I feel like I really packed a lot into these few hundred words about the Tam family in general as well as Simon and River specifically.

These two are RIDICULOUSLY in love. I like Kaylee, but I just can't take their romance seriously when Simon is constantly ignoring her and spending every second of every day thinking about River - who proposed to him in a deleted scene AND whose last scene in Serenity was watching him have sex (considering her powers allow her to feel what other people feel...)
