Small Ships Summer: small posts about small ships made this summer to fill up my tumblr queue.

Today, another ship in a mecha story. Kugawa/Sana from Tandem Love.

Tandem Love is a one volume yuri manga about various pairs in a military mecha school. Like in Simoun, the mecha here are piloted by two people but the couple I'm going to talk about is actually the one that doesn't ride together.

Kugawa and Sana are the two top of their year nerds who are very into engineering. The first chapter they share shows them pining over each other from afar before getting the opportunity to interact. The second chapter they're in finds them in a fierce competition for reasons I'll leave up to you to discover! They're pretty fun.
