Wait the hairstripe was foreshadowing??
The hairstripe is a blue/green colour, and what colour did Cassandra's hair turn post moonstone??
Villain arc foreshadowing?
And wasn't Quirin-

Got around to my Moon!Varian ref (Mostly based on the previous pic I did of him) 🌙
An armor design with glowing parts ✨ I also made the tips of his hair more wavy and lightly curly, as it is always flowing around mildly. He also looks unsure and tired, but he’ll be fineeeeeeee....maybe....
(Also, anyone can use this design if they want 💙 Just give credit of course!)
Nothing left to lose
My moon Varian edit
Prediction time!
Cass is so pale now bc the moonstone is hurting her, bc she’s not royal blood or something (or like originally of the moon kingdom). She’s gunna kidnap or hurt Varian to get the scroll and the moonstone will react to him somehow bc he’s of the moon kingdom (through his dad) (I still headcanon that either his dad is actually secretly the brother of the king/his mom was sister of the king, making him and Eugene cousins) and THAT STUPID BLUE HAIR STREAK OF HIS WILL FINALLY GLOW DAMNIT.
Cassandra's turn makes no sense
This has been bothering me after the finale of season 2 and I have to get my thoughts out there. At the end of this rant I’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Do you not give a shit? Let me know.
Let’s start off with the obvious. This bitch had a kid?!?! WTF?!?!
She is the most vain, narcissistic psychopath in all of Disney. There is no way, in heaven or earth, that she cared enough about someone to have a freaking kid with them. Is Cassandra Zahn Terri’s kid? Probably, but that’s still a pretty far reach.
Then Cassandra finds out that her mother chose Rapunzel over her. I can kind of agree with this. Cassandra has been set up to be somewhat jealous of Rapunzel since season 1, so knowing your own mother didn’t want you because she wanted someone else can be pretty hard.
HOWEVER!
Regardless of Cassandra’s feelings, in the end she cared about Rapunzel, they were as thick as thieves and the best of friends. Sure Cassandra isn’t great with talking or sharing her feelings, but even then they overcame that issue. But In this case it just seemed like Cassandra was adamant about not listening to a thing Rapunzel said, no matter how many times Rapunzel told her that Gothal took her against her will.
Then there’s the case of the blue gremlin. Cassandra believed everything that little creep said without question and without hesitation. Cassandra isn’t stupid, but this is the dumbest thing I have ever seen anyone do. Again, she’s not listening to any of her family or friends, who love her unconditionally, are saying, but will take everything she says as gospel. Even when Cassandra finds out that she is a monster, which took her way too long to ask mind you, she still, in the end, goes back to her when Rapunzel has the audacity to defend her kingdom against this threat.
In conclusion this season, in my opinion, has been a total betrayal of Cassandra’s character and I hate it. Here’s hoping we have some kind of decent resolution for the series finale.
Watched this and oh my what happened to Cass
EXACTLY XD Because she isn’t written like Cass, for the most part. She is just going through motions of “I’m evil now, MY DESTINY” and it’s so fucking stupid.
And before anyone says “The moonstone can mess with your head” or “Zhan Tiri influence and trauma” - those are cornerstones of villainous character but NOT good enough reasons
Seriously, Cass we knew wouldn’t be THAT entitled, even knowing the truth. Who cares about Gothel anyway, she had a better father.
Varian had stages to his villainy and it worked, even with limited screentime, because his relationship with daddy wasn’t the best and THEN he was hunted by Fred’s men (Fred of S1 wasn’t that great either). With Cass... it just doesn’t work, and there are no stages beyond the “critical point.” So she took that stone and betrayed Rupunzel? OK, but... that’s not the end of the world...
So what now? Why do you need that power? Could that help Corona? The world? Where is your glory? Where is your time to shine? Maybe Rapunzel and everyone can understand, eventually? No... instead she is just evil... because she is... and I’m not even getting into how she immediately becomes a naive puppet of Zhan fucking Thiri even though one of her MAIN character features was being careful and NOT being careful, thoughtful enough was Rapunzel’s weakness according to Cass (sometimes accurate)
ALSO WHERE THE FUCK IS ADIRA, I JUST REALIZED THAT NOW - the only character who SHOULD get an enemy confrontation with Cass because Cass never liked her and she is nowhere to be seen
Since it's Amoonageddon here, I give you....
.....Alice Moon Moon.
(But it's not very effective)
(Her name is Alice Moonstone, she is created by a part of THE Moonstone, a tiny little piece of it, it's a loooooong story, she's a crystal being and yes she look like a genderbent Varian cause that is what she was based upon nefore I got involved with her. She was Varians assistant/robot/living doll for a long time but later after Varian got imprisoned she met Rusty (my OC) and she grew into her own character, she and Varian is having a brother/sister relationship now)
Now I sort of imagined Alice and Rusyt being possessed by the Moonstone somehow but acting like Mirror!Eugene and Raps.
But I don't neither of them would truly be corrupted by the Moonstone.
If ANY of my characters would, it would most likely be my magic boi, Salazar, but that's another story.
