Ok, I realize some people are gonna fight me on this but.....
I think Cassandra is a pretty sucky villain.
Honestly though, yeah, her betrayal was heart breaking and she now possesses the power of the Black Rocks capable of destroying everything but... thats just it.
Thats all she is as a villain. Even her motivation to betray Rapunzel was pretty lame.
Tired of being Overshadowed her whole life by Rapunzel?
Uh, hello! She's a princess and she literally lived in solitude until a recently. Plus Cassandra was a Handmaiden! Clearly two different social statuses! What was she expecting?!
Gets abandoned by her own birth mother for the princess?
Yeah, blaming Rapunzel was totally unfair. She was a BABY!
And lets not forget she only became resentful of Rapunzel because SHE chose to bottle up her own feelings. Booberry just shook the soda bottle and aimed the spray at Rapunzel.
She steals Rapunzel's "Destiny" for herself? What is she a child? At that point what exactly is she being angry for?
In the end, Cassandra thinks she's taking control of her newfound "Destiny" but she fails to see that is being played.
In short, Cassandra as a villain is really all style but no substance.
I am open to any counter arguments.
