first thing that happened at the Monty ranch: romeo stole gnomeo back. peace is restored.
I rebuilt the monty restaurant since it was broken and too large anyway. However, since Romeo had to stay home to keep an eye on Tango, bianca runs a school, and the twins are in college, the only (former) Monty free to work at the restaurant is Mercutio. He was hired as a server. He's an expensive employee though. all of these college-educated youths cost a lot.
i forgot to paint some walls. that will be fixed next time along with a further makeover since I mostly needed to test run the lot. anyways they needed a host, and Brandi's limited in her normal job thanks to not having a degree, so she was hired :) skill-wise the wise thing to do would be to make her the chef, because her cooking skill outmatches Antonio's, but i feel like that would violate the spirit of the monty business... who knows though. the first day just had 2 customers before sending everyone back home.
At home, Romeo ate some toast and mostly just hung around the place. he needs a life so bad
at least he could entertain the boy for a while. the combination of the expensive employees and overall-shrinking Monty family is really threatening the family business that has basically been neglected for a preposterously long time anyway.
