She killed your bothers and sisters without hesitation … If you let her live , sooner or later she will kill others to survive... what makes you think she is different??! “ - Giyuu.// Okay okay so I kind of imagined it on how after the whole accident happened , the mother feels rather devastated to find all her kids murdered except for Nezuko , she was trying to approach her when suddenly she felt another presence nearby and it was another demon , not the original killer of her kids but another demon that was lurking around that area , smelling the scent of blood he notices that the one girl is still alive and goes in to attack her and eat her , when the mother jumps in and kicks the demon off ,a battle begins between the two of them because the mother feels strange powers all of a sudden , eventually when Tanjiro shows up and sees what is going on , he tries to rush in and help his mother but she pushes him away and tells him to take care of his sister while she distracts the demon so they would run away (Eventually some events occur like the demon trying to attack her children but she manages to hold him long enough for them to escape ) . Eventually Tanjiro picks up his sister and tries to go to the nearest hospital and the whole accident with him falling over and meeting with Giyuu still occurs BUT!! While they are having a discussion Nezuko mentions that their mother is in trouble and she needs their help. Eventually the mother had fought the demon and got really exhausted from the battle between the demon that she managed to knock it out of conscious and manage to escape , she soon finds her way to her kids but very unlucky followed by a powerful demon slayer. Nezuko begins to explain about their mother but Giyuu is very confused but doesn’t let his guard down , determined to kill the demon Nezuko jumps for Giiyu’s jacket and grabs a hold of it making the young Demon Slayer miss his hit on the young mother. I imagine her being very weak and tired from all that has happened and she just slowly collapses over , eventually Nezuko jumps for her mother and hold her tightly , Giyuu getting angered by the foolish kids trying to protect ‘their mother‘ he goes in for another hit trying to save the young girl but Tanjiro steps in and tries to stop him , he gets knocked over and the small boy manages to crawl towards his mother alongside his sister trying so hard to convince that their mother was not the one who caused all the harm and killed their brothers and sisters . Giyuu freezes for a second in fear for the two when he notices the strange movement from the mother that seemed like she was about to strike the small girl , he didn’t hesitate and went in on another attack , Tanjiro’s quick enough reflexes manages to save that one and block the hit with his axe only to get knocked over one more time . Nezuko holds on tightly to her mother as Kie starts to cry and hold onto her daughter. Giyuu pauses as he notices what is exactly going on [a few other events occur that causes Giyuu to think twice ]. Eventually the three go on about a long speech , both managing to convince the young demon slayer that she is the only family they have left and that they would do anything to turn her back into a human being. Giyuu considers and as the event with Nezuko occurred he allows this one to slide off hoping that he had made the right choice , he would certainly keep an eye on these three. And afterwards a whole new adventure begins . I feel like the mother might lose her voice for a long period of time from the shock and events , that causes her to go mute for a long time.
