This is probably a very controversial opinion but I love playing tank in quick play on overwatch

so i need some wisdom mayhaps. from tank mains. i'm learning tank rn, and all around i Love the role (if my team plays with me) but sometimes i'll play a game where i'm like 22-3, the teamfights are promising, we nearly win and then last second it all crumbles. usually because my team is too scared to follow through and ik it's qp so i shouldn't be so tilted but fawk. sometimes it gets to a man.

rn i only play hazard and dva and i KNOW haz of all tanks ESPECIALLY in 5v5 is like literally impossible (´_ゝ`) but idk i have fun with him. he's such a silly guy. maybe i should stick with 6v6 again? i feel like 6v6 as a whole is a better environment for tanks...

this might be a controversial take but...

every time a new vanguard or strategist drops I see motherfuckers up in comment sections talking about how " if you never played tank/ healer before this season I don't want to see you touching [insert new character]" but like as a vanguard/strategist player... weren't we bitching about having to solo heal/tank like a few weeks ago??? yea there's gonna be a learning curve but if it gets new people to do something other than instalock dps I'm not going to complain.

Sonic Hero Shooter Fancast

Hey uh, so, I really like Overwatch and Marvel Rivals, and y'all know I love Sonic the Hedgehog. And recently, I've seen some really good videos, posts, ideas about what other franchises would look like following the Marvel Rivals formula, so I figured why not take a crack at it with my favorite franchise?

I think there's a lot of potential here! I have a whole roster of ideas, but I just started with some classics. The overall goal was to make sure that I didn't lean too heavily into the Damage category, and fairly show love to Tank and Support (my main) roles.

So we got Sonic: a fast moving dps hero with a lot of movement and follow up options. With him, it's all about the flow state and combos.

Then Tails: a steady support hero with options to heal, boost abilities, and move allies around. For Tails, control and options are the key.

And Knuckles: a solid tank hero that wants to dive into the action. Based on maintaining aggression, his Maximum Heat will provide boosted attacks and shields to allies.

Let me know what you all think! This took some effort, but was really for fun. All the art comes from official sources, and is edited to fit the style. I have three more hedgehogs next if people want to see more!

Finally finished this huge piece I've been toiling away at for well over a month now. I am over the moon with how it turned out. For context, in Final Fantasy 14 you can play as a tank. There are four classes of tank, so I thought it fun to draw my character with ALL OF THEM. As the Ultimate Tank Main!
