If he weren’t here, Tanner could have been a lot of things. He has the smarts and the heart of a lawyer. Maybe one day he would’ve ended up some small-town sheriff in the middle of nowhere. Instead, Tanner is here. Even if he weren’t, Tanner swears he never would’ve wanted to be any of those things anyways. No, he’s perfectly content raising cattle, living the life he was always meant to live. He has no desires of his own. There is nothing else he wants to do. Right? Right??
