Someone said that Demon Slayer would be better if Nezuko were to be fighting constantly against her Demon Instincts, I agree but only if the way to make her break through it would be that she needs to make out with Tanjiro to calm herself.

Anyway, I was practicing with a new doodle brush that's pretty fucking good and a reference for this and I still can shade for SHIT so here is only the basic drawing, while making the hair I noticed there wasn't that much space for the scar so... bleh :b

Fun fact but this was supposed to be originally a Zucest doodle and I was kinda like "hmm.... Nah, they look far too tender and not angry enough mid doing it"

Maybe tomorrow I'm going to do an essay about how I can totally see Tanjiro giving Nezuko his blood in canon and how I tried to convey how intimate I really wanted it to be felt.

I don't really like how this turned up to look because I feel it could have been done a lot better but I was being lazy and I did not want to rework the entire thing.

I have a newfound taste for Kamadocest just from diving right into Demon Slayer, and I must say, NezuTan is hilarious to me.

The first impression that a lot of people get of Demon Slayer when seeing Tanjiro and Nezuko together is that she is his girlfriend, a lot of people actively believed that it was the story about a guy and his demon girlfriend before watching the series, then there are the people who started watching it who thought it was about two brothers falling in love, and finally there are those who in the middle of watching the series believe that Tanjiro wants to fuck his sister.

I just feel like that artist that did a doujin with Tanjiro and Nezuko ancestors and they looked like them and felt bad thinking he was tarnishing their relationship imo

I love that Tanjiro and Nezuko can have a completely platonic sibling relationship, I think one of my least favorite things in fandoms is the belief that any interaction between two characters cannot have platonic love behind it. On the other hand, I also really like the aesthetics and interactions between the two of them enough to ship them, not an offense to their romantic interests in canon, at most I think Zenitsu is a bit annoying but he's a good character and that Kanao could have benefited from a bit more characterization or screen time.

To its core, Demon Slayer is pretty focused on sibling love, Genya and Sanemi, Kokushibo and Yoriichi, and ultimately the biggest moving force is Tanjiro wanting to protect Nezuko and return her to a human.

Also I wanted to add a little blood between their lips but could'nt because I din't knew how to draw blood from that position.

Long hair Tanjiro looks amazing btw

I said it before and I say it now, but at best I consider Zenitsu annoying, I don't consider him a bad character in the least, let alone boring, but I will find it funny that even the best scene I can think of Zennezu is Zenitsu protecting Nezuko because Tanjiro specifically said that whatever was inside that box was more important to him than his life.

I think that's one of my biggest points against TanKana/Zennezu, the fact that from the beginning of the series, both Tanjiro and Nezuko consider the other the most important thing in their lives is what makes me adore their relationship, platonic or romantically, both Zenitsu and Kanao share the fact that they are the other's romantic interest, but the most important person for them? Well, the manga itself shows you how all that drives Tanjiro is the welfare of the people he cares about, above all of them, his sister. Ironically Nezuko is the one who demonstrates this the most, when she remembers why she shouldn't hurt any human, when she recovered her memories, etc. Who she thinks about is Tanjiro in such a way that highlights her devotion towards him because how he has done everything on his power to protect her and taking care of her.

I think that will be my favorite thing about the two of them.

They are the most important person in each other's lives, their greatest loves (it doesn't even have to be in a romantic way, but you can't tell me that the two of them put Kanao or Zenitsu above the love they have for each other).

You can even see it in Gyutaro and Daki, the reflections of how Tanjiro and Nezuko could have ended up if life had kicked them even more than where they already were, the two of them just have each other against the world, that makes that love and codependence so intense and that they would do anything for the well being of the person they love most in the world.

Also funny detail, using the reversing tool in this makes the hairs of both of them have the colors of the other and that's so IRKSKSKSKEJKEJDJSK fucking adorable.

Anyway, I should do more art of them now that I finished this thing, I'm going to be the one filling the Bwen and NezuTan tags one day lmao

Anyway, one of the most hilarious things is how most DS characters look like fucking gremlins in height and are totally jacked, even fucking Muichiro got that six pack

I said it before but like, Tanjiro would totally give his blood if it meant the well being of Nezuko, that much is clear.

I can totally see either of them getting horny mid-sucking though
