Earlier this month I broke my artist block by watching one of my favorite shows of all time, Walking with Dinosaurs (1999). This is certainly one of my core medias. The VHS copy I had also came with a CD-ROM and I still remember the narrator exclaiming 'the dinosaurs are turning in their graves' when my preteen self got the branches of the evolutionary tree wrong.
Maybe this is why I still love taxonomy so much. To prove that BBC voiceover wrong.
Anyway, with this most recent DVD binge I challenged myself to quick sketch the creatures while they were on screen, dedicating a page per episode. These are snippets of my favorites and I might flesh out a few later on.
