... nervously sweats.

 You know, she had to admit - the very idea of Tapu Bulu designing or gifting Lunala ANYTHING was absolutely heartwarming.. but... this sweater? It was like one of those things people would punish their children with wearing should it come down to it. The bat nervously scritches her neck before speaking-

Alola.... He’s heard of its tropical climate and unique ecosystem, one of which made the younger man curious. The strays were a lot darker in color, the atmosphere was in all very different. Unnerving even. But his parents insisted that he followed them, to explore what’s out there. As inclusive as the young Nanu was, he did see some motivation to this.

He was going to wander off and explore. 

And so he found himself near some peculiar ruins on Ula’Ula island ( at least that’s what he thought the place was called ). It was certainly more authentic in person than what the travel guide depicted. But Nanu had a feeling he was being watched.

Guilded hooves parsing the sands, Arceus landed gently in the Haina Desert. While she loved all her creations dearly, the humans made her a little...anxious at times. She didn’t want to stay in her humanoid form forever, but showing her true form in front of her risked capture, so she simply traveled to were any significant lifeforms were few and far in between.

Mostly.

Although...she could feel herself being watched. Aura told them it was no normal pokemon either, this was another legendary.

The fact that he could understand the Pokémon didn’t come as a surprise, although he couldn’t be certain whether it was because they were wanting him to understand or because of the Pidgeot DNA inside of him. If it were the former, and they were speaking to him as they might a human...that meant this was likely a legendary Pokémon, didn’t it?

Meaning he had no chance of overpowering it should a fight erupt.

“...” The experiment remained silent for a long time, weighing his options. Technically, this Pokémon had done nothing to him. Yes, he was currently restrained, but...it had nothing to do with the years of torment in a cage. He had no reason to remain silent and make this harder for both of them.

So finally he did speak, his voice weak and strained from disuse. 

“...There are none like me. Not to my knowledge. I am...” What? What could he call himself? “...I am an atrocity. Unnatural.”

So I think I mentioned that I love the mun of @tapubulusgarden​, but you all might not realize just how much.

This person is so talented at worldbuilding. Seriously, our discord chats are pages worth of their thoughts and ideas about the Tapu, the Kahunas, Alolan history, Alolan geography. It’s good stuff. I’m overwhelmed by it!  I often ask them for ideas whenever I’m stumped on a particular post or ask.

Also, you guys know Niwa? This person helped develop a lot of his personality and backstory.

They’re really considerate, too – always sending me links to cute videos, never making me feel stupid for not knowing something. They’re a good RP partner and a good friend!

Plus they have a talent for going from angst to crack in 2.1 seconds.

I realize this post is pretty disjointed but -- I love this person so much...

“Well, instead of having my own Pokémon fight each other, or against others in the wild, I think it’s better experience for everyone if I take them on instead!  

We learn from each other, yeah.  I learn a Pokémon’s techniques, and they learn which of their moves have the most damage-power, accuracy, and effect! Besides, it’s fun, and good for the body!  Though Burnet often disagrees on that one.”

(tapubulusgarden) He looks to the professor, somewhat concerned. He's not sure if he should stop this, or just let nature take it's course.

Now that he was done building it up, the sandyghast was now officially a palossand. The professor seemed none the wiser, the way he brushed sand from his hands and stood back to admire it like it was a normal sand castle. 

There we go... finished. Oh, but that tunnel could use a bit of widening, couldn’t it? Yes... Better fix that now. Then it will be perfect.

Clearly under its control, he knelt down and started to reach both of his arms into its waiting mouth, unaware of the towers on either side beginning to curl around behind him, preparing to drag him under...
