The first creature I did for Librum Prodigiosum ! The Tarantasio dragon, from Italian mythology! This dragon terrorised the people of Lombardy- eating children and destroying boats, he even had foul breath which caused yellow fever! He lived in Lake Gerundo before being slain with by Saint Christopher or Frederick Barbarossa depending on the telling- it is said the creatures tomb lies on the Achilli islet!
