Tarantulas reading Prowl like an open book, knowing all the little secrets he never lets anyone else know. Tarantulas knowing Prowl has to have everything under control all the time so he gives him the most amazing dream and his worse nightmare all at once: a completely controlled environment where he doesn't have to do anything, because everything is done for him

Prowl whose instinct is to fight and fight and fight because he can never let himself depend on someone else and has to be forced again and again to just let things be handed to him, to just let things be done to and for him by someone else and to not think outside of his own little world, or better yet not think at all. And he starts to like it

Tarantulas running that little tacnet in his processor RAGGED just so Prowl can't fucking think, so he can stay so sweet and dumb and maleable under the bliss of letting go of everything

Tarantulas who is kinda gaslighting and manipulating and taking advantage of Prowl but it's ok because he knows what's best for his sweet praxian, and he's taking better care of him than Prowl ever did for himself. And look at him anyway, doesn't he look so much happier all messy and sloppy and completely handled by another mech?

Clearly Tarantulas knows best

Taraprowl appeals to me largely as a ship between two people who do genuinely love one another at the start. But they both bring out the absolutely worse most toxic traits out of one another and enable the shit out of each other's absolutely worst habits and traits. Inevitably leading to one or both of them reaching a breaking point and/or things boiling over and the whole relationship ending in heartbreak, betrayal, and tragedy.

don't y'all think since tarantulas has 8 legs he can put one up prowl's valve, another up his aft, another pumping his spike, another in his mouth, and still have half of his limbs left over to do anything else he wants. like i've already written this before i'm just wondering where i can find more of it. for science.
