#Fact - The night of 29 is upon us, which means dear Insta family tomorrow is the 29th fast. Today could have been our last Tarawee of this year. Fact about #Tarawee, I have posted a picture on the fact we pray Tarawee but didn't give much info. So here goes. Men usually pray Tarawee in mosques, don't worry it's not a sexist thing. Women are able to go if the mosque in their area can accommodate. But subhanallah mosques tend to be so busy with worshiping Muslims, unfortunately it is my always possible. Yeah so anyway, usually prayed in mosques and the #imam, (the individual who leads prayer) prays the Quran from the begging to the end. Usually split 1.5 chapters in each 20 rakaats. Tarawee is prayed the night before the first fast until the night Eid is declared. Therefore as Eid can fall after the 29th or 30th fast. Today could be this year's final Tarawee. Hope everyone has managed to pray Tarawee this Ramadan and inshallah we are able to pray again next year. Things that really annoy the hell outta me at the Masjid.

Idk why every time I go to the masjid I can always find something that annoys the hell out of me. I really don't know why. I'm trying to pray and my focus isn't the best in the world but these things that just add to the many distractions during prayer.

Stupid annoying ass kids running around.- Like why you gotta bring your dumbass kid when first of all he doesn't know how to pray? Second when you let that kid run around making mad noise. I know they're just kids but like if you tell them to keep quiet its better than some grumpy old nigga yelling at them.

Kids that come to the masjid and don't pray.- I'm not the greatest Muslim in the world but c'mon dude. If you're gonna go to a masjid at least pray. I see kids sitting there and just texting. Like how hard is it really to stand during tarawee and pray atleast 8 rakaat and pray? Like I'm pretty sure you don't have anything better to do.

Dudes going maaaad hard with their prayer- Its not necessarily a bad thing its just really annoying when I can hear the dude next to me whispering very loudly. It's not whispering when everyone near you can hear it. I also see guys that dont even whisper and just say the prayers like they're the only ones there. Not cool dude.

Dudes that smell or have really bad breath or body odor.- Yo its a masjid cleanliness is part of Islam if you up in there smelling like rotten brown people then what good does that do? You got dudes that burp out their iftaar during tarawee which makes you cry worse than onions. Today praying next to some dude whose breath smelled worse than the lake water in Bangladesh.  That ish is gross!!!!

Dudes that take the saying "Foot to foot,shoulder to shoulder" literally- This annoys the hell out of me. You got dudes playing footsie with you while you pray. Like that is the weirdest thing in the whole world. Im not even talking about like teens or kids that barely know how to pray. I'm talking about like adults that keep tapping your foot. It bothers me so much.

Dudes who try to squeeze in the littlest spot just to get a space.- Especially during Ramadan the masjid is definitely gonna be packed. During jummah as well. But it bothers me so much when I see dudes that squeeze in the tiny space next to you and the guy next to you just so they could get a spot. Leaving you in the most awkward position to pray. It bothers me so much. My trick to evade a situation like that is to be like a rock so the guy gets so uncomfortable that he wants to move.

WHO THE HELL KEEPS TAKING MY SHOES?!- Man I cant tell you how many times my shoes have been misplaced. Or someone took them thinking that it was theirs. It seems like everyone owns a pair of Adidas slippers. But dumbass kids not knowing where they left their shoes last and are in sucha hurry to leave they take someone else's shoes. Or some how my shoes end up being left someplace I never left them like being left out in the rain. -__- Not cool dude.

The masjid is a place where people can come to pray. But these things piss me off so much. I lose the tiniest bit of focus I have when it comes to these things. I wonder... Is it like this at every masjid or is it just me? And what is it like on the girls side?
