I updated the digitally painted portrait of the Mortal Kombat 1 Baraka to look more dimensional and detailed. I digitally painted this using Krita.

Baraka’s gonna sit by his side for days, not sleeping, not eating, just watching over Kenshi until his transformation is done.

Most people, including Baraka’s old family die during the fever. Kenshi will make it, but Baraka is terrified that he will once more relive the death of his beloved.

i was fucking around in a new art program (realistic art studio, for those wondering) and thought this up! tarkatan johnny for the soul :)

side note, kenshi's tattoos are one of the most annoying things to ever draw. i stg they put so much random detail into kenshi's design and it makes me want to shoot myself. curse you nrs (i'm in love with kenshi and adore his design)

also if anyone saw me post this before without kenshi's tattoos... no you didn't. :)

Man has a imponent aura, he is a leader, gave hope for his people

AND I CAN'T!

Story says he was a respected Outworld merchant that contracted the Tarkat plague (they didn't told us how poeple can contract the plague yet).

And once he arrived at the Tarkatan colony he decided that he would fight and give hope for the other Tarkatans.

He is a symbol for hopeless people and a leader, I'm really happy that maybe Baraka will have a more important role on Mortal Kombat.
