Cleaning

so apparently they make cleaning grade vinegar and sell it in huge tubs. this makes me very very happy. But storage space is at a premium.... still it is cheaper than a lot of other cleaners so after I test this out I may be able to replace a lot of old cleaners.

Magical, Natural Silver Tarnish Remover

See the line where the ball was half submerged in the solution?

Hate polishing silver?  Hate the smell and the messy black rags?  This solution is natural, cheap and so, so quick and easy.  I swear, it really is magical!

Tarnish Remover for Silver

INGREDIENTS:

Hot Water

Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda (Available in grocery store near the laundry detergents in a dishwasher soap shaped box)

Aluminum foil

Plastic tub large enough for the sliver

DIRECTIONS:

Line the bottom of the tub with the foil, shiny side up

Fill with water enough to cover the silver (don't put the silver in yet)

Sprinkle 3-4 tablespoons of washing soda into the water

Wearing rubber gloves, swish till soap is dissolved

Place the silver into the tub so the silver touches the foil

Presto! the tarnish disappears, I swear!

Wash silver with warm water and dry
