Could anyone tell me who did the official art of the tarokka deck, I'm using the frame for my own ones and I can't find the original artist and i wanna be able to mention who did it
Tarokka Deck Commission (3/55): Beast The Beast card is the second card of the High Deck, and it represents a great rage or passion; something bestial or malevolent hiding in plain sight or lurking just below the surface. This one took forever to finish 😓 so many leaves and bushes... 🥴 But the wolf/werewolf was really fun to draw and I love the way it turned out! Commission, ko-fi, shops, and socials all linked in bio! (Commissions ordered now may be delayed until this current commission series is done)
Tarokka Deck Commission (2/55): Artifact The cards themselves in this commissioned deck will all be in greyscale, which turns out to be a pretty good value practice! The Artifact card is the first card of the High Deck, and it represents the importance of some physical object that must be obtained, protected, or destroyed at all cost. This design was a fun one! The lighting in particular was very satisfying to pull off. Commission, ko-fi, shops, and socials all linked in bio! (Commissions ordered now will be delayed until this current commission series is done)
Tarokka Deck Commission (1/55): Card Back The first part of a D&D tarokka deck commission for my friend! This particular deck is for my friend's character in an upcoming D&D campaign that I'm creating from scratch (worldbuilding and all), and he wanted the card back to depict the planes of the world as though it was a stained glass window. I've never done stained glass style before, but I think this turned out pretty good! Commission, ko-fi, shops, and socials all linked in bio! (Commissions ordered now will be delayed until this current commission series is done)
Spellfire: Tarokka Deck
If you're still accepting things for the tarokka reading: My poor Lawful good, former guard fighter girl who lost her lover in a duel wants to know if she should pursue vengeance or let the Law do its job (which will not happen) and if she should move on. The campaign is about dragons returning to the world and she already met 4 of them (in disguises)! Would be honoured to be selected ^^
The crux of the matter is this:
Three of Coins - the Trader. For either action you take, a cost must be paid. What will be lost for your love to be avenged, and who will pay it? Or, should you decide to forsake that task, do you know fully what you will pay?
Three of Swords - the Soldier. The cards perceive that your lover died in an act of sacrifice. Do you know what they had gambled their life for? If indeed it is a sacrifice, will your vengeance undo their dying act?
Five of Swords - the Myrmidon. On your path, the cards see greatness, and a promise of victory over your mighty foe. Will you turn back from this, to pursue your own quest of vengeance?
Eight of Swords - the Dictator. If you rely on the agents of Law to carry out your vengeance, it is as you thought, it will not avail you. All that the Dictator knows is the cold steel of sword and silken leather whip. He is not wise enough to carry the Balance of Judgement.
Two of Glyphs - the Missionary. What instead will happen, should your lover remain unavenged, rumor and malice will bury the truth, and your lover's name will be tarnished among their peers. He will not be remembered fondly.
So indeed here is the Trader's offer, for a price, if you are willing to pay. Your lover, unavenged, rumored to be a scoundrel, and in exchange, a promise of victory in your quest.
A Warforged Path of Wild Magic Barbarian, who’s learning that his life essence came from a Sor-Lock aeons ago. He values loyalty above all else, and loves cuddly critters.
He’s looking to find out something, ANYTHING about the soul that became his life. He wants to connect with the past, and resolve his former life’s issues.
First, the focus of the reading:
The Ghost, member of the High Deck. That which you seek is about to be found, whether you wish or no, for a specter of the Past extends its pale arms to touch the fabric of the Present.
The Raven, another member of the High Deck. Something you have already learned in your adventures, perhaps a hidden source of information, uncovered with luck or cunning, will lead you to what you desire. The cards see great opportunity.
Five of Stars - The Elementalist. The soul within you is the source of your primal might. Years ago, it swam in roiling seas of arcane power, and a memory of that is remembered in your wrath. Does this connection bring you comfort, or does it shackle you to the past?
One of Stars - The Transmuter. Your unstable nature will crack open a door to the unknown. A path unforseen will be laid at your feet, and you will know not where it leads. Will you have the faith to walk it? For on the other side...
Two of Stars - The Diviner. On the other side, all will be revealed, and you will come face to face with the Ghost of your past. Yes, truth may bring peace, but just as often it only delivers despair. Which one will it be this time? The cards do not tell. But what they do say is that, at the end of that road, you will know what you have been Destined to become.
The Suit of Stars is strong with your fate, so on this road, you will be offered great power. It is up to you to decide whether it is a temptation to lead you astray, or a mantle justly rewarded to a deserving hero.
