Introducing my new orphan wererat girlie, Schilalyi! She's a lawful good phantom rogue trained in medicine, who has a lot of empathy for others in a similar situation. I tried something new for the rendering on this one and took inspiration from the Dishonored art, specifically the art by Cedric Peyravernay. I had a lot of fun with it! Happy Secret Satan! My victim for this edition was spiinch, and for him I drew his Adonis of Corinth. I took inspiration from Botticelli's Birth of Venus for the general pose and composition, sprinkled with a bit of Greek mythology symbolism that ties in with the character! (I am purposely being vague just in case this info would spoil details about him) Also! This was my first attempt at using Rebelle! I did struggle with it (my laptop ain't powerful enough 😭), and I realized about halfway through that I was using the wrong kind of paint, but I'm overall quite pleased with the result! Probably won't use Rebelle for a bit, though.

Tarokka Deck Commission (40/55): Merchant

The Merchant card is the fourth of coins, and it represents a rare commodity or business opportunity; deceitful or dangerous business transactions.

This card honestly took way longer than anticipated. Partially because of art block, and partially because of the amount of detail I've put in it 😓 And while I do love the final result, this way of working is very much overloading me. Gotta learn to stop at "good enough" rather than "perfect". Now to be fair, 2024 was a very eventful and busy year for me, so yeah, it makes sense that I've been struggling with art 😅 Hoping for better art juices in 2025!

Introducing Karsten (he/them), my character for A Monster's Tail! He's an idol, specifically a coordinator idol, with a focus on fashion. And he's very shy around people 😅 They are a Fashion Girlie™, primarily for Angura Kei and other alt style fashions (though not as intense as they are only 13 years old). This was also an attempt at doing a more anime style, cell-shaded piece, which took me much longer than I thought it would 😓I am pretty pleased with the result, though!

Finishing up the challenge with the goddess of love and beauty herself, Aphrodite! I ended up taking a bit longer than expected for this one, partly because the pose is more complex than it looks, and partly because life. I'm quite happy with it, though!

This whole challenge was a very fun experience! I might come back to these someday and polish/finish them... If the mood ever strikes me 😅

I'm still alive! I live! And I bring you this here commission. Which took forever. Partially because it's a portraiture commission of two different people, and partially because moving is stressful and takes a good amount of time away from you 😑 But I'm done! And I'm quite pleased with the result. Portraiture, as complicated as it is, is very satisfying to do. Something about capturing someone's likeness well enough that they're recognizable just makes my brain go brrr.

Not something you expected to see from me, huh? I've been commissioned to draw some fanart of the live-action One Piece, and here it is! I'm super proud of how well I managed to draw Iñaki Godoy 😊 I'm definitely getting better at portraiture. I'm also pretty happy with the wanted poster itself! A job well done!
