Tarot Reading - DM if You’d Like One as Well
I was feeling particularly lost today, so I decided to do a tarot reading for myself.
I asked: What do I need right now?
My Answer:
The Sun - “Absolute Joy” I think that this card is trying to tell me that all will be well. I must continue to focus on the development of my own inner peace and joy in order to further evolve in my life. It’s telling me to relax and allow life to show me it’s wonder, to develop my curiosity and let the flow of living guide me to new places and experiences. It is signifying a time of inner light and discovery. However, it warns of seperating myself too far from others, from disconnecting from both the physical and spirtual , and allowing my loneliness to eclipse my light.
The Hermit - “Quiet Observation” I believe that this card is telling me to focus on myself, to become comfortable in being alone, and to find the wonder that can be discovered in doing so. It’s telling me that it’s necessary - it’ll help me discover the resolute I need to grow. Though I may not like some of the things I find inside, it’s necessary that I bring them to light instead of continuing to ignore them and that pain. I need to see myself as I truly am, not just who I think or hope that I am. This can only be done by me. I must be open to the truth I find, no matter what it is.However, this card warns of the opposite - ignoring myself, surrounding myself with that which distrats me, believing lies, and fixing myself to one mode of existence.
Knight of Wands - “Restless Spirit” I believe this card refers to my current condition. It descrbes a person who is motivated by passion and action. This is someone who is determined and seeks out the truth in their world. This is also someone who is fiercely loyal to their friends, but lacks understanding from them. They will help to bring action and movement in those causes they are dedicated to, but are also in desperate need of kindness. This card signifies spirit, passion, and persistence, but also warns of discord and unreliability, either from oneself or others. It also points out conflicts in relationships, especially that of friendships in which one is loyal to and faithful. I very much resonate with this because I feel that this is my current conditon, especially in regards to friends. I find that I tend to be much more faithful and oyal to my friendships than those who I am friends with, and that they tend to have a very low threshold for actual understanding, especially when I’m not actively benefitting them in the moment.
Queen of Swords - “Sharp Grace” This card describe someone with much experience in ife, but much suffering as well. It is through this suffering that this person has gained a deeper understanding and wisdom in life than most and possesses a grace that captivates others. Because of this suffering, they are very careful to protect themselves and may not seem particulary warm to all. This person is also very protective of those they love. This person nutures conversations with the truth, using facts and honesty to cultivate ideas. This is not someone to betray or waste their time - they are known for coolly and calmly cutting others down with their intellect. I think that this card means someone who is self-reliant, wise, and strong - fiercely guarding over their strength. I feel that this card is telling me about myself first and foremost, but also emphasizing that I work on having strict discipline for myself and prepare myself for facing harsh truths. It also warns of using my gift of intelligence in a cruel manner, or being unnecessarily intolerant and petty/argumentative.
