April sits in an interesting place on the wheel. Ostara has just passed, Beltane is still a few weeks out, and the energy of the season is caught somewhere between the promise of growth and the actual work of it.
That in-between space is exactly what I designed this spread to sit inside.
The In Bloom spread is a five-card tarot layout built around seasonal reinvention with a grounded, honest focus. It shows you not where you wish you were, but where you actually are. Each position asks a specific question about what's growing, what needs tending, and what's already arrived whether you've acknowledged it yet or not.
The first card is about what's already in motion. A lot of people skip past this one because they're convinced nothing has changed. Pull it anyway. Sometimes the movement is subtle enough that you've been walking right past it.
The second card asks what needs to be cut back. This is worth sitting with longer than feels comfortable. Pruning isn't the same as losing something. It's a choice about what deserves the soil you have.
The third card points to what's been living in the shade of your attention. This is usually the thing you already know about. The card just makes you say it out loud.
The fourth card is where the work is. It won't tell you something you don't already suspect. What it does is give you permission to stop avoiding it.
The fifth card shows what's already yours. This one tends to surprise people. Something has already bloomed and a lot of us are still waiting for confirmation that we're allowed to claim it.
