Morning everyone! It’s been a minute, huh? That’s okay . Let’s talk about my morning draw. Today, it’s Judgement, reverses, the three of wands, And the knight of cups . Judgement reversed is an interesting draw. Right side up it indicates, well, judgement. Everything being evaluated and sorted so that harmony can reign and rebirth can begin . But the reversal changes things. My draw this morning indicates self-doubt. It’s like my deeds are being tallied and I’m fretting. Trying to judge myself before anyone else can . Self-doubt has been a theme for me recently - I’ve been trying to tell my boss I’m starting a new job and I keep rehashing things in my head. Am I making the right choice? Will I regret this later? But I just have to persevere! Push through and do it . This last sentiment isn’t coming from Judgement directly, but because of its situation between my other two cards today . The three of wands is about starting a new venture. Not planning it (that’s the two) but actually taking steps out the door. Just quit! . And the Knight of cups, have to say I love this guy . The knight of cups is action oriented, but focused on the realm of emotion and intuition. This guy is taking control of his own emotional fulfillment, following his gut and doing what he needs to to be happy. Or centered, or whatever his benchmark for success is . Taken together, I think my path for the day is pretty clear . Don’t get hung up or distracted by doubting yourself. All the planning is done, the setup is there, just do the thing! Also the card representing a strong (and stubborn) resistance to change. I have spent months, MONTHS, blaming bad fortune for problems that are actually within my control, if I stop just letting them happen to me and actually set (and more importantly HOLD) boundaries. #tarotforgrowthchallenge day 17: what is my spirit asking me to pay attention to? 2 of Pentacles This card represents balance, changing priorities, and resilience. I'm a stay-at-home mom to two preschool age boys. My husband typically leaves before they wake up and gets home in time to kiss them goodnight. I'm solo parenting 5 days a week, lately. This is their busy season, and in theory it will slow back down and he'll start getting home at a decent time again soon, but until then, every damn day is a balancing act. Oh, and my oldest just decided to give up his naps (aka: my only break time). My spirit wants me to balance shit better? According to Biddy Tarot, "Ten of Swords reversed may represent an old situation that ended badly. You are still carrying around wounds from it but have buried them so deeply that you do not realise they are still present (and hurting you). These old pains need to be dealt with once and for all. It may be difficult to delve back in, but it's the only way to release yourself of this pain and allow it to pass from your life." This card seems to be telling me that the relationship I need to pour my nourishment into is my relationship with my past self. I've made plenty of bad choices that led me to painful ends and rather than deal with those, I ignore them and bury them until I no longer notice them.
