It's extremely funny to me that people dislike Childe for "being forgiven too fast" even though the protagonist still very much doesn't trust him. We saw his more humane side during our hangout with him and Teucer, but we still dont' trust him and he's aware of that. The only reason why we weren't mean towards him in the Labirynth of Warriors was because we didn't want to alarm Xinyan.

And the same people who think Childe was forgiven too easily don't even bat an eyelid on Ei, who just ended years of thyranical reign just because she was told to do so by her "pet", and she never experienced any kind of consequences or even just negative attitude from The Traveler or the people of Inazuma? And people think that going on a date with her and reading a horny light novel about her is a fitting way to end the arc about her being a tyrant? I mean, seriously, how is Childe a problem by this isn't?
