My dream is that my child (if I have any) can grow up in a world where he/she can say "I checked him/her out" without getting "are you gay/lesbian?" In response, even in a joking manner unless there are equal amounts of "are you straight?" jokes being made. Where people learn someone else's sexuality and either go "oh that's cool" and move on or they ask honest questions about differences in the way their love lives are IF there are any.

So one time I saw a David Bowie poster and he didn't look recognizable to me. I was like “This doesn't look like David Bowie" and this random guy nearby was like “If you ever see a picture of one person, it's probably David Bowie." So trying to be clever I said "So if I see a picture of myself..." and he was like "It's probably just David Bowie dressed as you" so I was like "When I see a picture of a playboy bunny..." "His boobs are really convincing" "When I see a picture of Queen Victoria?" "Bowie is eternal" At this point I was sobbing tears of joy and submitted because Bowie is everything.

So today this guy came through my line at work and was wearing a David Bowie shirt. It reminded me of a story. More to come
