watched parasyte/kiseijuu movie yesterday by the way!! only downside of the movie was probably the super quickened pace. some characters are omitted from the movie (kana was absent as well as the gang dudes) and they made some changes but the story still makes sense, it still flows nice. shinichi was more of a really cute brat in the beginning than a shy nerd, but i'm okay with it. the changes might turn animanga fans off, but it's still great. it's great, okay. somehow i can even connect with shinichi's pain and the subsequent transformation better than in the anime, it's more realistic. it's just great. everything else was also grrreaaat. love how the parasytes act, so awkward and unsettling and very nice, one time i appreciate the typical stiff japanese acting. shinichi's actor was pretty damn good considering it's a japanese movie. the CGI was also much better than i expected. migi was a little less annoying than in the anime, actually he even became kinda cute?? or anyway that's what my friend who didn't know anything about parasyte said. also SHINICHI EVERDEEN can't wait for part 2: Attack on Parasytes

Awan

Ini bukan cerita tentang aku dan senja. Bukan tentang angin yang menenangkan. Bukan tentang bunga yang semakin hari semakin menguras kesabaran. Dan bukan tentang ombak yang terkadang masih menjengkelkan.

Ini tentang aku dan awan. Tentang aku yang selalu menanti awan datang. Melindungiku dari teriknya matahari. Bukannya aku bermanja-manja padanya, tapi terkadang aku memang ingin selalu bersamanya.

Aku sadar, kami terpisah oleh jarak. Walau tak sejauh aku dengan senja. Tapi tetap saja, aku sulit untuk menggapainya.

Belakangan ini, aku tidak bertemu dengan awan. Rasanya panas! Matahari secara langsung mengenai kepalaku. Uhh aku merindukan keteduhannya. Aku rindu ketika ia menangis menumpahkan air hujan. Aku rindu semuanya tentang awan.

Awan, apa kau disana? Apa kau masih suka memperhatikanku? Terkadang, aku mengadah menatap langit, mencari awanku. Mencari awan yang kukenal. Tapi lngit tetap terlihat terik. Tak ada tanda-tanda awan diatas sana.

Aku merindukanmu, awan. Sungguh. Bahkan melihat pesan yang kau jatuhkan pun tak mengobati hati ini. Aku ingin bersua. Aku ingin berteduh seperti biasa.
