One of the true talents of a skilled taxidermist is to recreate nature in it’s natural state or as close to natural as they can get it. Years ago animals that where mounted were either put into a plain case or on a wall and that was it. Nowadays demands are greater and expectations are higher. New taxidermy studio opening soon in South Gloucestershire. Cottage Taxidermy started in Wiltshire eight years ago from a garage in a rented house. Sadly I had to stop all taxidermy due to moving and not having the facilities to practice. Now I am moving to my own house with my own garage so I am now in a position to start up again.
