This is ABSOLUTELY URGENT. I want to tell you so much about myself and I want you to notice me so badly, but I have a priority that I need to tell you about.
Your official forum, ‘TAYLOR CONNECT’, is being shut down by TAYLOR NATION on November 30th 2017 and we at the forum are EXTREMELY UPSET. You are the only person above Taylor Nation that can do anything about this, and we want YOUR HELP. We’re a close-knit community and we were all devastated by the sudden news that our home was being shut down. We only got 10 DAYS notice as well, which is NOT OKAY.
They said in their banner on the website, “Thank you for being the most amazing and supportive fans!” and yet they slap us in the face by closing our community.
I started a petition but I know Taylor Nation would not listen to it, and I am having trouble getting a lot of signatures. It’s not like they would listen to us anyways.
They are supposedly closing down the forum to “make way for” the ‘The Swift Life’ app. I have spoken to another ‘Taylor Connect’ member who said that they were in contact with ‘Wonderful Union’ and they got the impression that Taylor Nation was “done” with us and the forum. This is NOT FAIR to us and our close community.
I’ve honestly never seen a worse management team. First they choose the same fans OVER and OVER again for related events to meet you ONCE AGAIN, while there are tons of fans like me who want to meet you so badly and will never get the chance. I’ve loved you for 11 years and my time has STILL never come. I gave up years ago though, as that ship has sailed. L
We DON’T want our MEMORIES of so many years to be taken away from us in just 10 days notice. I have been a part of this forum for 8 YEARS and I’m not backing down without a fight.
Can you PLEASE help us??? Can you please ask Taylor Nation to cease their plans to close Taylor Connect??? There is NO REASON ‘Taylor Connect’ and ‘The Swift Life’ can’t co-exist. There are many members on ‘Taylor Connect’ who don’t have a phone and would not be able to use the ‘The Swift Life’ app. ALL of us on the forum who are active would most definitely use BOTH the forum and the new app when it comes out.
Please please please help us. I’m begging you,Taylor. We would all be forever in your debt if you kept Taylor Connect open. And we love you so so so much (especially me)!!! :)
