There are too many funny ones not to draw, so expect more of these.

Paper-thin scraps of ash crumble away in Tayuya’s clenched fist, and she bites her lip till it bleeds to hold back the tears that threaten to escape. 

She’s weak, powerless. 

So weak. 

But maybe she will allow herself this moment of weakness if, later, it turns into a monstrous strength. 

Orochimaru told her it was a Konoha-nin who did it, who turned Kin’s body to dust before her time was up. 

Something in Tayuya says this is not the truth. 

She silences that something. She burns with the desire for revenge, and it doesn’t matter to her who takes the brunt of it. 

The last fragments of the only person Tayuya can truly say she loved float away on the wind, and her lips move with a silent goodbye, one that she’d kill to protect. 

She is weak, and it has turned her strong.
