Toru pauses as he hears Yagami speak up. Despite what they’ve gone through together, maintaining this amicability is foreign. It doesn’t feel forced per se, but he’s always known that he doesn’t share the same relationship with Takayuki that Kaito or Matsugane does. 

Still, as uncomfortable as he can be, especially when compliments come into play, he forces a small smile and nod.

“Uh, yeah. I had to replace it after everything with Kuroiwa went down.”
