I started the Bad Batch show! I just watched the extra long ep one, and I love it! I’m not going to do a commentary because doing the TCW finale took it out of me, but my basic thoughts so far in each character:
Hunter: Awesome, can’t wait for more characterization beyond “the leader.”
Tech: MY BABY. Please don’t die this time… please?
Echo: My favorite!!!
Wrecker: Absolutely hilarious and another favorite
Crosshair: BOO. But he also can’t help it so I’m booing in the same way we all booed Jesse. I don’t see why he gets so much hate in comparison to them, he still couldn’t help it, he’s just not angsting like the others. (Okay now that I say it, he could have a lil more sympathy…)
Omega: High chances of becoming the Tagalong Kid, but from the little I’ve heard of this show, she doesn’t. And she seems to be growing on me.
Speaking of “the little I’ve heard of this show,” I tried to remain un-spoiled on it once I decided that I was going to watch all the important Star Wars animations like Rebels, Clone Wars, etc, especially because I had already been spoiled by looking up some of the more interesting TCW episodes (mainly the Maul ones hehe) on Wookieepedia and TV Tropes. I still got the basic premise (TBB care for a kid while fighting the Empire) but the only spoilers I got were “Crosshair is a traitor” and “Tech dies in season two.”
(I am also going to begin Rebels at some point, and I started season one but stopped to watch TCW. I also don’t want to go too out of order because that’s confusing.)
