How different is Sybille from Anais?
I feel any Gabenath child must be stubborn as fuck, so they are very similar in that respect.
I haven’t done that much thinking about Sybille’s personality, because I haven’t had the chance to write her as anything but a newborn. From what I have considered, these are some distinctions:
Anaïs is blunter and more candid. Sybille tends to keep to herself.
Anaïs is fiercely and fearlessly protective. Sybille’s protectiveness emerges in her empathy.
Anaïs is very technically skilled in the arts. Sybille’s creative approach is more conceptual.
Sybille is slower to anger. But she holds grudges. Ana does too, for large offenses.
They are otherwise very similar.
Hey everyone,
So, not that anyone really cares, because I’m just a stranger no the internet, but I’ve been really off recently— started a super stressful new job (that I love), had a ton of dental work done, and I’ve just been sleeping a ton to keep up with everything.
I’ve fallen off the inspiration wagon for the Devolved, so I’m just going to be taking a break from that and focus on TBoG, which has been undergoing a ton of revamping. The biggest rework is that I’m on the fence between Steampunk and Dieselpunk and different ways it’d effect the campaign/world.
I’m way more in love with the grittiness of Dieselpunk, but the weaponry is way more advanced and in terms of DnD, will make things a bit more.. high risk.
Anyways, I’m on the fence for it, but I will probably do a cross between the two. Advanced Steampunk with the grittiness of Dieselpunk.
I’m currently working on my planar structure, designing a nice pantheon, and a layout for how the different Strata interact...
It’s still in the beginning stages.. but each cog tooth represents a god, the 4 color areas are the elemental planes, and then there is the Material Sphere within that.
It’s certainly a work in progress. But that’s where I’m at..
