Welp, it’s that time of year again. NYE is almost upon us and I am starting to put together my TBR of 2023 List.

(And, to top it all off, my grandparents got me a brand new kindle for Christmas!)

So this @dirtylittlebookworm is absolutely looking for recommendations.

My current TBR list is as follows:

The Nightingale (reread)

A Gentleman from Moscow (reread)

A Man Called Ove

A few things to note:

I am really, really into books that retell myths and epics. Whether that’s telling them from a woman’s POV, modernizing them, turning them into a romance, etc.

I absolutely hate reading nonfiction

I do not like Colleen Hoover books

I love historical fiction

I don’t like authors who use too many words

I hate horror because I’m not looking to have nightmares after I fall asleep reading

I’m willing to read pretty much any genre (except for the ones noted above) if the prose is amazing. I also like mindless trash books sometimes too. But I live for breathtaking prose

So AO3 is still down because of the DDOS attack yesterday and, while I know I have a Fanfiction.net account I think I'm actually going to get cracking on my TBR books list...first up, "Hold Me Closer Necromancer" by Lish McBride which my friend loaned me a while back and I haven't read yet
