i know everyone is pissed because of polish jury, but this actually might make sense. stay with me!

remember this film eurovision song contest: the story of fire saga? there was a guy, governor of the central bank of iceland (i had to google it lol), him:

remember when he desperately didn't want any good singer to qualify, because it would ruin iceland's economy?

we're exonomically screwed too, so maybe they thought that we can't let anyone good compete, because if we won (that would have to be a huge miracle as the international jury hates us, but still, not completely impossible), we wouldn't be able to prepare the contest in poland?
