What if Diaval was Maleficent's dæmon? It works, sort of, because they can be apart from each other like the witches in HDM … Diaval "settles" at the end of the film, and it's like when Will learns to see his dæmon, because they weren't there before but they are now … idk
HOLY SHIT THATS BRILLIANT
Like okay, Diaval knew Mal all along and he’s been with her for her entire life
but not in a way that you would think though
because he’s inside of her
but when he was touched or awakened by Maleficent’s inner turmoil after loosing her wings he becomes a physical being: a raven.
But then he becomes a human after she transforms him and begins to work for her as her servant.
THIS IS SO AWESOME I LOVE THIS HEADCANON
