I really liked tcor! It was certainly different from the original book series and I might have starved a bit for Folchart- content. At the same time, it was really nice spending time with the Black Prince (and Battista!!). I liked the side characters and the descriptions of the Inkworld and Dustfinger's and Nyame's childhoods. The blood thirsty rat man seemed like a crunchier (negative) version of Basta. As a incurable Basta fangirl, I can't help but feel that he was a little... Well, I think there was a reason he was made that way. Loved to hate on Orpheus. Loved his ending (I had to laugh!) and it was fitting for the theme of the book. In some ways it felt a lot softer than the Inkheart- series, particularly the later books. I missed more interaction with the old characters (you're telling me Dante built a flying machine and I won't get to hear more??), and the Jacopo hate was intorable (this will just be a hard split from canon in my fic world forever, sorry). Loved the dark witch and her lair of dread, but she died a little too easy.
