when the most pessimistic miserable character you've ever seen finds hope in the last three minutes of the story
I’ve been rewatching Total Drama
I finished TDI and am starting episode 7 of TDA so I just finished Trent and Izzy’s aftermath and I have some thoughts mostly abut Gwen, Courtney, maybe Heather unsure about that and like ship things.
why is there. so much vomit in this show
2017 TD Re-Watch Schedule
Okay, so I've had several requests to do a re-watch of the series over the hiatus. While it's a great idea (and I'm always down for re-watching) you all just have to realize that as time goes on and we get more episodes, it gets harder and harder to rewatch all of them in a short period of time (even if that time is a long, 6-month hiatus).
So we have 99 episodes to watch in only about 25 weeks (depending on when the S8 premiere actually airs. We don't have a specific date yet).
So here's what I'm gonna do:
there was nothing but love waiting for rust in the dark. he thought it'd be cold and apathetic, he thought time was a flat circle and he'd have to grieve his daughter again and again. but he pulled the knife out of his stomach and laid there to die. and in the darkness, there was nothing but love. and then he woke up.
it's just that it all goes back to his daughters death. everything about rust begins and ends with the fact that his daughter is dead. so what is he gonna do but work a case, give in to the obsession of the king in yellow. there is nothing else for him to do because his daughter is dead.
the first adjectives used to describe rust being "raw-boned" and "edgy." like YES he is in fact raw-boned and edgy
"rust would pick a fight with the sky if he didn't like its shade of blue"
the first time we see him (in the past), he's almost completely shrouded in darkness. "he looked like he was on his way to the firing squad" and he's holding a bouquet of flowers. then we see him in the present, in the washed-out light of the interrogation room and he's all faded like he's been left out in the sun too long. his clothes matching the outdated computers and the filing boxes behind him. the light is just as damning as the dark.
