can anyone whos used both avaz and td snap tell me which one might be more worth it to use?

i wanted touchchat but it’s. WAY too expensive for me to get right now, especially since i’m already paying monthly to use td snap. but i’m wondering if i should switch to avaz instead of td snap?

i don’t know. need opinions from others before i take any action

im curious about trying TD Snap because i see boards with different sized buttons and i really like that, but i got so used to using Coughdrop and switching now feels overwhelming, i wish coughdrop had similar feature. does anyone have tips on trying a new app and if its possible to transfer my board to TD? or any tips honestly and if you use TD Snap what do you think of it?

Wow! A lot has changed in my life since I have been active on this blog. I now use a pageset inspired by Petrichor Pageset - Public v2 by Petrichor on pageset central, I started university - I'm studying special educational needs and disability - I got engaged and I am now Pagan which is also my biggest special interest at the moment. I have also been told that I have FND which explains some of my speaking difficulties but I am on medication which helps so now I have moved out and live with my fiancée!

wow that board format thing could be HUGE for us!! let us know how it works out!

it's spb/obf only!!! so no pagesets. but I did open an issue on github with sps->obz conversion suggestion. So we'll see what happens with that. (if anybody reading this happens to know about coding & wants to maybe contribute, an sps file appears to be some sort of sql... i don't know what to do with that, though.) it IS an offline .html converter, also! So it brings up this nice webpage to convert things for you:

(the conversion was an attempt at file renaming the lamp hack .sps to .spb. it did not actually work.) interestingly, a page bundle seems to *also* download as spb... but when i converted the aac core compared page to check, it's only the p2g page? Not really sure about that, either. so if you have a single-page board you want to convert, it'll work fine, but entire pagesets... not so much. (Yet? Hopefully. haha). I assume offline html is possible on a phone *some*how, but I've never really looked into it, so... probably best to have a computer? [slight context: aac board converter on github]

I found an "spb -> obf (& obf -> spb)" converter!

So basically if u can figure out how 2 use it, it should convert td snap board format to open board format, & open boards to td snap boards also.

Not 100% sure what results look like, but assuming you *can* download from pageset central w/o an account ... could then use td snap boards in asterics?!
